In his commitment of promoting the use of technology in performing audit functions among auditors, Commission on Audit (COA) Commissioner Roland Café Pondoc visited the COA Caraga, and introduced the COA Project Reporting of Infrastructure Schedule Monitoring System (PRISM) by conducting a crash course for that purpose, which was held at the Main Function Hall, COA Regional Office No. XIII on May 18, 2023. He was warmly welcomed by Regional Director Merne T. Peñaranda, the Supervising Auditors, Service Chiefs, Regional Supervising Auditors, Audit Team Leaders and the personnel of the Regional Office.

Commissioner Pondoc commenced the session with the discussion on the components and relevance on the use of the Audit Related Data Information System (ARDIS), which includes the Audit Resource Management Information System (ARMIS), Audit Engagement Monitoring System (AudMES), Audit Results Monitoring System (ARMS), Cash Advance Monitoring System (CAMS), Government Agencies Project Program and Activity Information System (GAPPAIS), and the Cash Examination Reporting System (CERS). He related these to PRISM, a software application designed for evaluation, monitoring, and reporting of government infrastructure projects through web and mobile platforms.

He likewise emphasized the importance of complete data in the GAPPAIS in order to achieve such    purpose for the benefit of both the auditors and the public. He encouraged  all auditors to embrace, and continue using this technology in the performance of their functions.

The COA Caraga Family is enormously fortunate for the opportunity and is sincerely grateful for the knowledge and updates generously imparted - up close and personal by no less than the humble and highly respected COA Commissioner Pondoc.
